A Guide to Spell Casting

This is a small guide for your reference as far as spell casting is concerned at the TCG. The guide covers the basics (such as guidelines and restrictions) but for the actual spells, what it does for you, etc please look at The Standard Book of Spells.

1. You may only cast spells that are availble for your level/magic exp*.
2. You may only cast spells from the spell book that corresponds with your level.
3. Spell books (Standard Book of Spells Grade 1, 2, etc) contain different spells.
4. Once you have learned a spell you do not need to relearn it. You only need the wand movements for the spell (no other requirements).
5. In some instances you will be given the opportunity to cast "advanced" spells (meaning spells from a spell book that is not on your level).
6. In order to cast the actual spell you must have all wand movements and requirements. Wand movements are finite so once you cast the spell you must turn in the wand movements for the spell (and any other requirements).

Advanced Spells

If you would like to cast a spell in a spell book one level above yours, you must have the correct amount of magic exp (and trades). The following tasks will help you earn magic exp to go towards being able to cast a spell from a spell book in the next level.
