Prejoin, Site
Prejoining will close at the end of today. If you are still interested in prejoining please do so by the end of today/early tomorrow. I won’t officially “close” it until tomorrow afternoon.
The staff and I will be working on getting Hogwarts ready for opening soon. About time, huh? There are still quite a few pixel graphics to make and the activities to set up.
Also, I know many of you haven’t received your Chocolate Frog card yet. To make things a bit easier, especially if you e-mailed me about changing your sprite please head over to the Students page on the sidebar. You will find a comments form where you can leave a comment with the description of your Chocolate Frog card. This will make it easier for me so that I won’t have to dig through the e-mails since they will be all in one place.
Halloween Event
The Halloween Event is up! Well, most of it anyway since I plan on adding a few more games (some are regular themed games just to make up for the group games not being updated). This does mean that the regular prejoin group games will not be updated (with the exception of Prejoin Group 2 and 3 games). So go ahead and click on the Halloween Event image on the sidebar to get to everything.
Collecto and Trading Cauldron can now be found at the forum and are managed by Barbara! The first rounds are still going on so be sure to participate if you haven’t already.
Contests
The results for Bertie Bott’s Contest are in. Congratulations to for first place and thanks to all of you who have entered. You may pick up you prizes at Bertie Bott’s Prize Page. Contest badges and such will be available for you next week. Also, with the conclusion of the contest it also means we have beans that can circulate!
Don’t forget the new contests are up as well! All entries that I have received so far have been added. I do have a question though about contest voting. Do you think it would be a good idea to impose a rule where someone cannot win first twice in a row? I think it is fair in a way so that others get a chance. I can always add other award categories (such as my favorites). Let me know what you think!
New Decks

Prejoin, Members
Prejoining will most likely close on October 5. If the date changes (as in, I extend it) I will be sure to announce it. The reason for closing prejoining again, as mentioned before, is so that I can finish things around the site. Please make sure you have given me an image for your prejoin badge and card. I still need them from: Aeval, Alice, Arieyn, Aurora, Chantel, Elin, Heather, Jennifer, Krissy, Natalie and Spam.
Prejoin badges have been made for KT, Sam and Smam.
Contests
Contest results are in— congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who participated! Depending on the number of participants and how much time I have, participants will receive a custom badge as well. This time around there are no generics so be sure to pick up the badge with your name.
Bertie Bott’s Contest has a voting form up now since I didn’t add it with the other contests. All entries will be used in the end, this just has to do with awards 
Round #3 of the prejoin contests are up.
Halloween Activity
As you probably can see, the Halloween/October activity is slowly being set up. I’ve added the image to the sidebar so it will be easier for you to access. Instead of the regular prejoin group games next week the Halloween games will be up for you to play. This really only changes Prejoin Group 1 games so everything else is still active (you may play Prejoin Group 1 games if you haven’t already, they just won’t be updated with a new round).
TCG, Forms, Forum
As requested, the General Contact form is available and all forms in my inbox have been answered so if you haven’t received a reply from me please resend.
It also seems as though Collecto and the Trading Cauldron will need a change in how they are currently run. To make things easier, they will be moved to the forums next week (unless any of you prefer to have them remain on the site and use a comments form).
Also, for those of you who expressed interest to be a staff member when you prejoined or would like to be one please head over to the forums and under Great Hall you can find out more.

Prejoin, Members
I will be sending out starter packs to those of you who joined up to this date and prejoin badges will be made soon. I will probably end up closing prejoin again just so that I can start working on other things and catch up with what needs to be done. The actual date for when it closes will probably be announced next week.
Games
Prejoin Group 1 games have been updated. There is also a trading pot (The Trading Cauldron) and group collect (Collecto) available.
Just a heads up. I am planning a Halloween/Trick-or-Treat event for Hogwarts which will take place of (most of) the regularly scheduled games. You may see some of it popping up (information-wise) so be sure to check it out. I’ll of course announce in the updates of the information, etc.

Contests
Voting will continue because I want to hold off on adding the new contests until next week (since it’s almost the end of the month anyway). So if you haven’t already, please send in a voting form.

All new prejoiners up to this point should have received their starter pack. If you haven’t, please let me know. I will also do one final check of the members list before I remove those of you I contacted and didn’t receive an answer from.
Jessica and Phynix’s prejoin badge has been added to the Prejoin Badges page. I believe all have been made up to this point. If yours hasn’t, please let me know.
If any of you need to go on hiatus or just need a break in general, feel free to let me know You’ll just have a different colored star added to your prejoin star which lets everyone know you’re on hiatus.
Contests, Activities
All contests are now closed. The Voting Form is now available—new contests will be added next week with the games update. You will notice that voting is slightly different this time around (and a lot easier for me). Also, Allie has automatically won the Special Contest due to the lack of entries.
With the games update for next week, would you prefer to have a bingo or lottery game added (or something else)? Feel free to suggest a contest as well.
Deck Mastery
While you can’t really level up yet (items for the level up are not available to you yet), I have decided to put up the deck mastery form since first masters will be counted towards Magical EXP. Also, this form is only for prejoin where you will receive 2 choice cards and a couple more random cards for mastering a deck.
